PVNC Catholic honours 57 staff members with Everyday Hero Award in 2024-2025 School Year

June 23, 2025

In its fourth year, our peer-nominated Everyday Hero Award celebrated 57 outstanding staff members who make Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington (PVNC) Catholic District School Board a special place.

Since its launch in early 2022, more than 200 remarkable staff from all roles and locations have been recognized for their exceptional contributions.

Our Everyday Heroes embody compassion, dedication, and kindness, turning routine tasks into moments of meaningful impact. Their quiet yet powerful efforts enrich the experiences of colleagues and students alike, often going unnoticed by those who benefit most. These individuals are not just supportive adults or empathetic peers; they are the heart and soul of our community, deeply influencing the lives of everyone they encounter.

Our everyday heroes come in all forms, quietly making a difference in our schools and board offices, yet very often they overlook or downplay their own actions.
