Together for Tomorrow: PVNC Catholic to host Third Path Parent Engagement Evening event

Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington (PVNC) Catholic District School Board is hosting a hybrid parent engagement evening with Dr. David Tranter.
Dr. Tranter will speak to parents about ensuring a trauma informed approach to parenting that supports mental health and well-being.

Location: St. Catherine Catholic Elementary School, 1575 Glenforest Blvd., Peterborough
Time: 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. (hybrid in-person and virtual access)
Dr. David Tranter has been teaching and working in mental health, well-being, and education for over 35 years. As a researcher, writer, and professor, Dr. Tranter works widely with educators, parents, and mental health professionals across Canada and beyond to support students at all grade levels to reach their highest potential. He is the co-creator of The Third Path, a pedagogical framework that promotes both student well-being and academic achievement. His book, “The Third Path: A Relationship-Based Approach to Student Well-Being and Achievement” has been adopted widely at PVNC Catholic. He is the 2023 recipient of the Ontario Principals’ Council Outstanding Contribution to Education Award.
