St. Mary CES, Campbellford students honoured as “Bridge Builders” for kindness and leadership

Kindness, leadership, and inclusion were celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Elementary School in Campbellford during a special school-wide assembly on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, where students were honoured with the school’s Bridge Builder Awards.

The awards recognize students who consistently demonstrate kindness and help bring others together, creating a positive and welcoming school community. One student from each class was selected for the award after being nominated by their peers.

During the assembly in the school gym, each recipient was called forward to receive a certificate and award in front of their classmates, staff, and several proud family members who were able to attend.

The celebration highlighted the many ways students support one another and contribute to a caring school culture.
