PVNC welcomes new Communications Officer Alyssa Cymbalista

Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington (PVNC) Catholic District School Board is pleased to welcome Alyssa Cymbalista to the position of Communications Officer.

Alyssa has started her role in Communication Services where she will be the Board’s primary storyteller, bringing the Board’s strategic priorities to life as she highlights and promotes student, staff and school success stories throughout the Board. Alyssa will use her experience in photography, social media and digital marketing to elevate the stories we share through Communication Services, for both internal and public audiences.

Joining us from Peterborough & the Kawarthas Economic Development, Alyssa worked with small businesses, investors, and tourism operators as the Marketing Officer to promote Peterborough & the Kawarthas region to both locals and visitors each day.

Originally from Brampton, Alyssa moved to Peterborough to pursue Environmental Studies and Media Studies at Trent University. Working with Parks Canada’s public relations department and Trent University’s athletics teams during her academic career, she fell in love with the Peterborough community and stayed permanently.
