PVNC launches 2022 United Way Campaign

Today, we’re pleased to officially launch the 2022 PVNC United Way Campaign! The campaign runs from today until Monday, Dec. 5, 2022.

We are happy to return as the co-chairs to this board-wide campaign. Each year, we are inspired by the generosity of our PVNC staff.

Take last year, for example. When many organizations saw significant decreases in their fundraising efforts, PVNC surpassed its United Way fundraising goal combining to raise just under $69,000 for our four local United Way agencies.

Remember, it’s now easier than ever to donate using our United Way Payroll Deduction Form.

To kick off our launch, we’re asking every PVNC staff member to take a moment (three minutes to be exact) to view this direct donation plea from Director of Education Joan Carragher.

Our goal is to raise $70,000 board-wide in support of the critical, life changing services that the United Way funds in our communities.

Each school will once again have a United Way coordinator and we look forward to seeing all the creative ways that schools choose to fundraise.

We know there are many ways to donate, but we’re asking permanent employees to please consider a payroll donation, which provides consistent, reliable funding to the United Way agencies in our jurisdiction.

Our United Way Payroll Deduction Form is the easiest and most convenient way to give to support our campaign. Note, you must use your PVNC email account to fill out the form. For occasional employees or for those who wish to make a contribution in another way, please email: [email protected].

Thank you for taking on the challenge of raising funds for this worthy cause and for your support and commitment to this year’s campaign. We’ll be sharing some important messages from our area United Way campaigns and updating you on the campaign goal progress in the days and weeks to come.
