“Arwen, our Learning Commons Specialist, is one of the hardest working staff members at St. Elizabeth. She not only has a full schedule of classes that visit the Learning Commons every week, she also organizes the technology for a school population of over 750 students. Arwen runs the school’s games club during lunch. She helps sort popcorn that we sell as a part of fundraising efforts. She not only reads to the students but incorporates different, fun activities during her periods. She finds games and interactive activities for the younger grades. She organizes STEM activities and coding for the junior classes. Arwen is the go-to person for both staff and students for all technology issues. She will stop what she is working on and instantly try to help. If she notices that someone hasn’t come to the library for their last recess break, she will pop into the classroom to see if they need some support. She is a very kind-hearted and generous person who rarely takes time for herself. She is always willing to listen to the problems and worries of others. Thank you Arwen!”
