Catholic Student Leadership Awards presented to six PVNC Catholic secondary students

Six secondary students from across the Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington (PVNC) Catholic District School Board have been recognized for their exemplary leadership and faith in action.
One student from each of the board’s six secondary schools received the prestigious Catholic Student Leadership Award at the 39th annual Father Patrick Fogarty Awards Dinner in Toronto on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025.
The award recipients are (listed in order of appearance in the photo): Julia Arobieke of Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School (Peterborough), Eva Winn of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School (Lindsay), Sarah Reid of St. Mary Catholic Secondary School (Cobourg), Kylah Welch of St. Peter Catholic Secondary School (Peterborough), Carter Peios of Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School (Courtice, not pictured), and Owen Clark of St. Stephen Catholic Secondary School (Bowmanville, not pictured).
The Catholic Student Leadership Award celebrates students who demonstrate outstanding faith-based leadership within their schools and communities. It also honours the inspiration and guidance of Catholic educators, chaplains, administrators, and parents who support these young leaders.
The awards and gala were presented by the Catholic Education Foundation of Ontario (CEFO).
