STSCO opt-in process wraps up

On behalf of Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington (PVNC) Catholic District School Board and Student Transportation of Central Ontario (STSCO), we’d like to thank all the families in Peterborough, Northumberland and Clarington who participated in the opt-in process to secure bus transportation for their child for the 2024-2025 school year. This opt-in process did not impact families in the City of Kawartha Lakes.

We recognize that this opt-in process was a change in practice and added additional steps for families to complete, but we are optimistic it will help us eliminate unnecessary empty seats on bus routes, helping to create a more efficient transportation system that will benefit all riders.

Eligible families who did not opt-in to bus transportation after receiving a final notice on June 7, 2024, will be responsible for transporting their child (ren) to school for the 2024-2025 school year.
