St. Mary CSS students celebrate French culture at Les Francofolies event

St. Mary Catholic Secondary School in Cobourg celebrated its annual Les Francofolies de St. Mary on November 26, 2025, bringing together French Immersion (Grades 9–12) and Core French (Grades 10–12) students for a memorable cultural experience.

The event was a collaborative effort led by the French Department of  Marco Gagné and Marjolaine Trottier and the Culinary Department under Esther Dietrich. 

Students were treated to an exceptional meal inspired by fine Parisian cuisine, complete with thoughtful décor, music, and ambiance that transformed the space into a Paris-themed dining experience.
