PVNC Catholic schools help raise more than $8K for Special Olympics Championship
Superintendent of Learning/Special Education Anne Marie Duncan was privileged to present cheques totaling $8,196 to Peterborough Police Chief Murray Rodd this week.
The proceeds, raised in school collections across the Board, will benefit the Ontario Special Olympics Championships being hosted by Peterborough Police Services and held at KPR and PVNC schools between May 29 to 31, 2018 in Peterborough.
“The commitment shown by our school communities to supporting those people in our communities with special needs, and their families, is exemplary,” Duncan said.
