Oct. 24 Professional Activity Day will offer rich professional development for all PVNC staff

PVNC staff will be engaged in rich professional development during the Oct. 24, 2022 Professional Activity Day, which will take place in all schools and the Catholic Education Centre and will be offered to some staff virtually.

Running from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. in all school locations, the PA Day will focus on two central topics – the Ensuring Equity and Providing Excellence in Teaching & Learning priorities of the Board’s Multi-Year Strategic Plan.

During the morning, staff will be engaged in equity training and will be provided time to complete the voluntary 2022 PVNC Staff Census.

The afternoon session will focus on Catholic School Improvement Plans for Student Achievement and Well-being as well as offer specific training for Special Education staff and math PD for primary elementary educators.
