Immaculate Conception CES partners with neighbours for Thanksgiving food drive

East City residents in Peterborough who live near Immaculate Conception Catholic Elementary School have once again contributed generously to the school’s annual Thanksgiving food collection.

Area residents recently received a flyer from the school, asking them to consider leaving a non-perishable food item or two on their front porch.

On Wednesday, Oct. 4, the students walked throughout the neighbourhood picking up food items, organized the donations and brought them to St. Vincent de Paul.
