Holy Cross CSS hosting a Jack.org Community Talk for parents
Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School is hosting a Jack.org Community Talk for parents, caregivers and other caring community adults on Feb. 22 at 6:30 p.m.
Titled Supporting Positive Mental Health and Coping Strategies in Teenagers, Holy Cross will welcome trained youth speakers who will share tools, tips, and experiences to help shift the way students think about mental health.
Jack.org describes itself as a national network of young leaders transforming the way we think about mental health. With initiatives and programs designed with the input of young people at every step, Jack.org aims to end stigma in the next generation.
The event is free and open to the public.
While the event is geared towards teenagers and those raising teenagers, anyone who is interested in mental health is welcome to attend.
