Holy Cow, Slow Down! St. Martin CES students “paint a plow” for Peterborough County public works

Students at St. Martin Catholic Elementary School in Ennismore painted a cow on a Peterborough County snowplow blade with the theme “Holy Cow Slow Down” as a message for motorists during the winter season.

Each year the Peterborough County public works operations department chooses a county school to paint a county snowplow blade through the Paint A Plow program.

The plows are displayed at the Douro Depot at Highway 28 and County Road 4, east of Peterborough in Douro-Dummer Township, until the winter when they are utilized during winter maintenance operations.
