Community spirit on full display at annual Spring Fling event at St. Dominic CES

St. Dominic Catholic Elementary School in Lindsay was buzzing with energy and excitement during its much-anticipated annual event, the Spring Fling. 

The evening brought together students, families, staff, and community members for a celebration filled with laughter, fun, and connection.

“This wonderful event would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of the St. Dominic Parent Council, who planned and organized the Spring Fling with heart and enthusiasm,” said Principal Laura Carson. “Their efforts created a memorable night that continues to be a highlight of the school year, building community spirit and celebrating all that makes St. Dominic CES such a special place. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the evening a tremendous success!”

The school grounds were transformed into a festive hub, featuring games, food, local vendors, and engaging activities for all ages. 

A perennial favourite—the Cake Walk—once again stole the show, drawing large crowds and spreading smiles as participants hoped to win one of the many sweet treats generously donated by the community.
