Dear Families,

We are writing to inform you of significant flooding inside St. Michael Catholic Elementary School overnight.

Crews from the Town of Cobourg were able to shut off the water early this morning. Our facilities team is now assessing the situation and has begun cleanup and drying efforts in the affected areas.

At this time, there is no update regarding any potential impact on the return to school following the Christmas holidays on January 5, 2026. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will provide families with an update as soon as it is available.
