Today, PVNC is pleased to officially launch the 2021 PVNC United Way Campaign!

Back by popular demand, one pledge form to rule them all! One of the innovations we made last year was to ditch the paper and pen pledge forms (and the hours of administrative work these created) for a simple online United Way Payroll Deduction Form.

Every employee can now donate to their local United Way campaign with a few clicks of a button. More on that below.

We’re asking each and every PVNC staff member to view this direct donation plea from Director of Education Joan Carragher about the ongoing challenges COVID-19 has created in our communities, which impact our students and families and the critical services that help support healthy communities.

Thanks to your generosity, last year, amid a global pandemic and all the uncertainty it brought with it, PVNC raised $53,119 for four area United Way campaigns during its 2020 board-wide campaign.

Our goal is to return to pre-pandemic fundraising totals and we are striving to raise $60,000 board-wide this year.

Each school will once again have a United Way coordinator and we are happy to be able to host school fundraising events again this year, within the boundaries of our COVID protocols.

We know there are many ways to donate, but this year in particular, we’re asking permanent employees to please consider a payroll donation, which provides consistent, reliable funding to the United Way agencies in our jurisdiction.

Thank you for taking on the challenge of raising funds for this worthy cause and for your support and commitment to this year’s campaign.
