PVNC Catholic Seeks Community Input on Draft 2025-2026 School Year Calendar

Annually, the Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington (PVNC) Catholic District School Board provides an opportunity to parents/guardians, students, staff and community members to review the draft school year calendar for the upcoming year.

You can access the Draft 2025-2026 Elementary and Secondary Calendars and a brief survey on the online engagement page: engagepvnc.ca/2025-2026-calendar

Highlights include:

  • The first day of school for students is September 2, 2025.
  • The proposed winter break is from December 22, 2025 – January 2, 2026. The last day of classes will be December 19, 2025 and students will return to class on January 5, 2026
  • The proposed March Break is March 13th to March 20, 2026.

All comments will be reviewed and considered in making final recommendations for Board and Ministry of Education approval.

The survey is open until January 26, 2025.
