PVNC Catholic recognizes the month of June as Pride Month

Throughout the month of June, the Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington (PVNC) Catholic District School Board will fly the Pride flag at all schools and at the Catholic Education Centre. This visible sign of solidarity reflects our ongoing commitment to creating inclusive, welcoming spaces for 2SLGBTQ+ students, staff, and allies across the Board.

Recent findings from the PVNC Catholic Student Census remind us that some 2SLGBTQ+ students continue to face barriers to feeling a true sense of belonging within our Catholic schools. We take this to heart.
