Young people across the Peterborough area are invited to gather for a special Jubilee Mass for Youth honouring the canonization of Blessed Carlos Acutis and Pier Giorgio Frassati — two powerful role models of faith for today’s youth.

On Saturday, September 6, 2025, the Cathedral of St. Peter-in-Chains in Peterborough (411 Reid St.) will host a Jubilee Mass for Youth at 5 p.m., followed by a blessing of relics of Carlos Acutis. A reception will follow at 6:30 p.m. in Knights Hall, and the evening will conclude with Adoration from 7:30–9 p.m.

Carlos Acutis, often called the “patron saint of the internet,” used his digital skills to spread the Gospel in creative ways, while Pier Giorgio Frassati, known as the “Man of the Beatitudes,” lived his short life with joy, service, and deep faith. Both saints remind young people that holiness is possible in everyday life.

Everyone is welcome to attend.
