Outgoing trustees recognized for their service to PVNC

The Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington Catholic District School Board said farewell to three outgoing trustees – Christine Dunn, City of Peterborough, Daniel Demers, Peterborough County, and Ruth Ciraulo, Clarington, during the Board meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2018.

Dunn, a former Board chairperson, has been serving as a Peterborough trustee since 2000 while Demers and Ciraulo joined the Board in 2014.

“Thank you on behalf of all the members of PVNC staff and students for your years of service – your wisdom, insight and dedication to the students of PVNC has truly made a difference for them – they are better for your leadership as are all of us,” Director of Education Michael Nasello said. “We wish you well in your retirement from this role as you pursue new ventures and interests in the years ahead.”

The new Board of Trustees will hold its inaugural Board meeting on Dec. 4, 2018, at which time the Board will elect a chairperson and vice-chairperson and committee appointments for the upcoming year.
