Outbreak Declared Over at St. Paul CES in Lakefield

The following letter has been sent to staff and families at St. Paul Catholic Elementary School in Lakefield informing the school community that the COVID-19 outbreak at the school is over.

Dear Parents/Guardians and Staff, 

I am pleased to inform you that Peterborough Public Health (PPH) has declared the outbreak over at St. Paul Catholic Elementary School. 

The five cases connected to the outbreak, which was declared on Oct. 6, 2021, have been resolved.

As always, we continue to follow all public health and provincial recommendations, including thorough cleaning and disinfecting of all areas; frequent and proper handwashing by everyone in the building; wearing masks; maintaining physical distancing to the fullest extent possible, and following any other steps directed by Peterborough Public Health.
