Labour Update: tentative agreement reached, schools open tomorrow (Nov. 21)

We are happy to communicate that the provincial government and CUPE, the union representing support workers in our Board, have reached a tentative agreement.

As such, all schools in the Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington (PVNC) Catholic District School Board will be open to all students and staff tomorrow (Nov. 21) as usual. All student transportation will operate as usual.

This is a positive outcome and we are thrilled that the parties involved have been able to come to terms on a tentative negotiated settlement.
