Important information for City of Kawartha Lakes families on bus transportation for inclement weather days

Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB), which manages busing for our schools in the City of Kawartha Lakes, is implementing a new zoned approach for weather-related cancellations, effective immediately.

This means that rather than cancelling all busing across the district, TLDSB will now cancel transportation only within specific zones impacted by inclement weather. Parents and guardians will be notified through Bus Planner messaging when their child’s route is affected.

Schools will remain open and learning will continue as scheduled. Parents/guardians will be responsible for arranging transportation for students who are able to safely attend school on these days. Please ensure that drop-off and pick-up occur in accordance with the regular school start and end times.
