They’re buzzing with excitement at Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School (HTCSS) in Courtice after receiving $500 from the Bee Cause Project for the maintenance and growth of its Beekeeping Club’s bee program.

This funding will go towards purchasing essential supplies such as wooden frames, bee feed, and various pieces of equipment to ensure the success of the hive for years to come.

The club has grown over the years into a passionate group of students dedicated to beekeeping and environmental stewardship.

HTCSS students will put these new resources to work as they continue to care for the bees and deepen their knowledge of beekeeping practices.

Through the program, students learn about the crucial role bees play in our ecosystem as well as gaining practical skills in sustainability.
