“Your schools have demonstrated Terry’s same ‘no quit attitude’ by tirelessly fundraising and helping us achieve these fantastic advancements,” the Terry Fox Foundation wrote in a letter to the Board. “We are so grateful to Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington Catholic District School Board, and all of your schools, for their unwavering support and look forward to working with you for years to come!”

“This is an important contribution to cancer research, and a fitting tribute to Terry’s unbreakable spirit,” PVNC Director of Education Joan Carragher said. “His legacy is now an institution of Canadian Society, and we are proud of the contributions big and small by all of our school communities to this important cause.”
