Everyday Heroes: Tiffany Martin, Maureen Kawzenuk, and Amy Parker
April 24, 2026
We are honoured to present this week’s Everyday Heroes for the 2025-2026 school year.
Our everyday heroes are the epitome of compassion, devotion and care, transforming everyday tasks into extraordinary impacts.
Their subtle yet powerful actions not only elevate the experiences of colleagues but also enrich the lives of the students we proudly serve. They are more than just supportive adults or empathetic peers; they are the vibrant pulse of our educational community, profoundly touching the lives of all they encounter.
Our everyday heroes come in all forms, quietly making a difference in our schools and board offices, yet very often they overlook or downplay their own actions.
This week we are celebrating Tiffany Martin, Maureen Kawzenuk, and Amy Parker.

While she is incredibly caring and patient, she also holds firm expectations that help her students grow in confidence, responsibility, and character.
She goes above and beyond by helping her young students accomplish amazing things. From guiding them in performing a class play, leading a mass, to leading them in presenting the Stations of the Cross for the entire school, she gives them opportunities to be brave, work together, and shine.
Most importantly, she teaches lessons that go far beyond academics. She helps her students understand kindness, faith, respect, and what truly matters in life.
Her dedication, compassion, and guidance make a lasting impact on every child who enters her classroom.“ |
