Director Michael Nasello fulfils his last Put Your Director to Work Day Fundraising challenge

Director of Education Michael Nasello fulfilled a promise from last year’s board-wide United Way campaign on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020.

St. Peter Catholic Secondary School special education resource teacher Karen Spenceley was the winner of last year’s Put Your Director to Work Day challenge, an annual initiative that encourages payroll donations by PVNC staff.

On Tuesday, Spencely received a well-deserved day off while Nasello supplied for her St. Peter classroom for the day.

Nasello has run the popular fundraiser since 2015 and has taken on various roles in the Board from educational assistant, to librarian to IT helpdesk operator. This will be Nasello’s last fundraiser as he sets to retire at the end of 2020.

The Board will be launching its 2020 United Way campaign in late October.
