Clarington schools reopen to in-person learning

Dear Parents/Guardians and Staff, 

All schools in the Municipality of Clarington will reopen to in-person learning tomorrow (Jan. 20, 2022). 

The Municipality of Clarington brought some specific safety concerns to our attention yesterday afternoon related to Monday’s storm cleanup, which informed our decision to close schools for the day. Those included concerns about sidewalks and crosswalks and hazardous conditions for those who would be walking to school. 

The Municipality has informed us that it has now had the opportunity to resolve all on-going cleanup issues stemming from Monday’s storm and we are pleased to welcome back students and staff to our schools.
