PVNC Catholic celebrates kindness on Pink Shirt Day

Students and staff members across Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington (PVNC) Catholic District School Board donned their best pink attire to celebrate Pink Shirt Day.

The theme for this year’s event is “Choose Kindness”.

Just like tending to a garden, together we can each help nurture a sense of belonging where we live, work, and go to school.

It all starts with small gestures— a kind word, an offer of support or understanding. 

We can model this as we continue to embark on our journey of celebrating the diversity of our students, providing inclusive learning environments for all where everyone is accepted and respected for who they are as individuals.
