COVID-19 Staff Immunization Disclosure

As part the Board’s COVID-19 immunization disclosure protocol, all board staff at Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington (PVNC) Catholic District School Board must provide one of the following:

  1. Proof of all required doses of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by the World Health Organization.
  2. Written proof of a medical reason, provided by either a physician or nurse practitioner that sets out:
    a. that the person cannot be vaccinated against COVID-19; and
    b. the effective time period for the medical reason (i.e., permanent or time-limited).
  3. Proof that the individual has completed the educational program prescribed by the Ministry of Education.

Employees who are not fully vaccinated must regularly complete rapid antigen testing for COVID-19 and demonstrate a negative result three times weekly and provide verification of the negative test result to the Board.

As directed by the Ministry of Education, PVNC must publicly post aggregated depersonalized statistical information about the status of the Board’s immunization disclosure protocol on a monthly basis.

Of those school board employees and trustees who have submitted an attestation, 95% of individuals have attested to being fully vaccinated.
