"Tell the Next Generation" the Good News of Jesus Christ
Catholic Education is a part of the mission of the Church and all Catholics are co-responsible for that mission by the grace of their baptismal covenant with God and with the believing community. Through this mission, the Church continues the teaching, healing, and guiding work of Jesus. Parents, the primary educators of their children, together with the parish and school, commit themselves to particular tasks within the mission of Catholic Education. Together, these partners forge a dynamic faith-community within which young Catholics encounter an understanding of our rich heritage, our religious culture, our tradition, our ministry, our teaching, and our faith. Gathered together in our Catholic Education Ministry, we commit ourselves to embrace the virtues and practices that allow us to "tell the next generation". (Ps.48:13-14) the Good News of Jesus Christ.
