School Year Calendar

Each year, school boards in Ontario must prepare, adopt, and submit a school year calendar to the Ministry of Education. School  year calendars are completed in accordance with the Education Act and Regulation 304, School Year Calendar. If the Board has a school year calendar that is different from the requirements of the regulation, the Board must submit the proposed school year calendar to the Ministry of Education for approval on or before March 1.

Final and approved school year calendars must be submitted to the Ministry of Education by May 1 of each year.
