May 22, 2012

St. Mary Catholic Secondary School will be showcasing its talent at the 14th Anniversary Alumni Concert on Sunday, May 27, 2012, 4:00 p.m. at Trinity United Church in Cobourg.

Featuring the award winning St. Mary’s Singers, Treblemakers and solo performances from past and present St. Mary’s students, the evening will embrace the music from different genres including African, pop and classic.

“The concert finale will include all present and alumni students singing three songs in a mass choir,” states Violet Neheli, Principal. Some of the alumni members are students who were at St. Mary’s and took part in the first choir directed by Music Teacher Tanya Earle over 14 years ago. We are all looking forward to the performance.”

The evening entitled ‘United Voices’ celebrates the performing arts with an impressive array of student talent,” says Tanya Earle, Music Teacher at St. Mary’s. “The evening is intended to provide individuals of all ages and musical tastes with an entertainment experience unlike any other. I encourage everyone to attend and experience a wonderful evening of musical performances.”

Tickets are available at St. Mary’s School and George’s Guitars in Cobourg for $10.00/adults, $8.00/Students and Seniors, and a Family Pass of Four can be purchased for $30.00.
