OYAP Student
An OYAP student is defined as a student who is receiving co-operative education credits for work experience in an apprenticeship occupation. The student may or may not formally register as an apprentice while in secondary school. The student experiences both work experience and in-school curriculum. Apprenticeship in-school curriculum standards have been developed to ensure apprentices have sound theoretical knowledge required to work in their respective fields.
